We are so sorry to hear about John’s ( your Dad and Bampa’s ) passing. We remember John for his great smile and sense of humour. So sorry he had to suffer near the end and Thank God he is at peace now. Catherine will be in heaven to greet him with loving arms.  Prayers and loving thoughts for all of you. Love you. In the few short visits I was able to have with John before his passing, he shared with me many life lessons I will cherish, use, and continue to pass on to others. His giving nature was complimented by his desire for that which he was blessed with to live on with and in those whose lives he touched.

To the Legris family.  What a fine man.  Just getting to know dad in these last couple of years has been my great pleasure.  Kind, soft spoken and always interested in sharing his life's work.  Oh the stories he could tell about his northern journeys.  Lots of love and hugs to all of you.

Our condolences to Carrie, Shauna, Kelly & Pat and their families - we enjoyed many years enjoying both your mom and dad at family functions, card games & regular visits.  Cherished living next door for many years in Gibbons and watching all our families grow up together in Alberta.  He will be missed by so many.

My sincere condolences to Uncle John’s family.  I have the fondest memories of my Uncle John.  He spent so much time with me, as a teenager.  Uncle John loved to ski, he bought me new skis and we spent a lot of time on the hill.  We also spent time hunting and fishing. Thinking of him often with love.
