Mrs. Marita Ritchie, late of Edmonton, formerly of Fort Saskatchewan, passed into the arms of her Lord on Monday, March 6, 2017. She is missed deeply by her family; daughter, Ruth (Rob) Sampson of Edmonton; granddaughters, Naomi Carmack of Edmonton, and Querida (William) Eaves of Calmar and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family and dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, John; her sister, Martha, and her brothers, Peter and John.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, at 1:00 pm from First Memorial Riverview Chapel with Major Terry Cook officiating. To reflect Marita’s spirit of generousity, donations gratefully accepted to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 700, 10665 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5J 3S9.
