Mel was predeceased by an infant son, both of his parents and sister.
At Mel’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held by the family at a later date.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the paramedics, staff at the University of Alberta Hospital and the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital for their care and compassion.
