She is survived by her loving family; husband of 58 years, Tony Cherban; 3 children, Cindy Ostapovich of Edmonton, AB, Wanda (Dan) Screpnek, of Chauvin, AB, and Annette (Dean) Yurkewich of Sexsmith, AB; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan (Jackie) Screpnek, Mackenzie Screpnek, Rebekah Screpnek, Andrea (Nathan) Janzen, Joshua (Shana) Yurkewich, Kyle (Katelyn) Yurkewich, and Sarah Ostapovich; her brothers, Laverne (Joyce) Wilkins, and Eddie (Linda) Wilkins as well as numerous other family and many dear friends.
Phyllis is predeceased by her parents, George and Anna Wilkins; and her grandson, Tony Ostapovich.
Friends may pay respects at a visitation at First Memorial Riverview Chapel, 11090 86 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan on Thursday, August 30 at 1 pm, interment to follow.
