George Vinson

George served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for Baymont Suites and later the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. He was a Baptist.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home; five daughters, Vicky Vinson and her husband Randy, of Walkertown, NC, Nancy Hudson and her husband Charlie, of Greensboro, NC, Jennifer Vinson of Winston-Salem, NC, Jamie Sheets of Hot Springs and Stacey Loden and her husband Donny, also of Hot Springs; two sons, Wally Vinson and his wife Lesa, of Greensboro, NC and David Manning and his wife Jennifer, of Siloam Springs; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
