Agnes Solomon, 88, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018, in Van Buren. She was born August 30, 1930 in Dayton, AR to the late Tony and Cora (Tyler) Coward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Solomon; and her son, Ronnie Lawson (Sergeant-U.S. Army, Vietnam), resting at the US National Cemetery.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Lawson of Pocola, OK; her granddaughter, Terrie Grigsby and husband Jeff of Broken Arrow, OK; her grandson, Ricky Lawson and wife Faith of Fort Smith, AR; her great grandchildren, Samantha Crow and husband Micah of Broken Arrow, OK, Jacob Grigsby of Broken Arrow, OK, Katherine Lawson, Hannah Lawson and Khristian Lawson, all of Greenwood, AR; and her great great grandchildren, Kenlee and Charles Conely of Greenwood, AR.
The family will visit friends Friday evening from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
