Alford Jonathan Davis

Alford Jonathan Davis, 92 of Ft. Smith passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017. He was born July 7, 1925 in Winslow, Arkansas to the late Charles and Hattie Davis. He was a retired foreman for Wards Ice Cream. In his early years he played semi-pro baseball. He loved fishing, hunting, and was a gardener. He enjoyed working on cars and the occasional race car. He loved his grandkids, and great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Davis.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Mr. Davis is survived by two daughters; Jean Perdue of Fort Smith, Judy Steele and her husband James of Fort Smith, his two grandchildren; Amber Diemer of Vilonia, AR and Blake Perdue of Fort Smith, and his two great grandchildren; Cody Burks of Alma and Charley Mae Perdue of Tahlequah, OK.
