Alice Erwin, age 81, of Arkoma, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Alice was born June 12, 1940. Alice Faye Erwin, 81, of Arkoma, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Fort Smith, AR with family by her side. She was born on June 12, 1940 in Van Buren to the late Elwin and Ethel White. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Alice loved spending time with her family and always had the best advice when you had a problem. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, America's Funniest Videos, and the Hallmark channel but her favorite of all was old Westerns and fried chicken. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Joe Erwin and her beloved dog, Sugar Faye. Public viewing will be from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 16, 2022 at Forest Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Robby Erwin, Brookin Stephens, Sam Stephens, Grayson Erwin, Bobby Lee Erwin and Brayden Joe Erwin. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, brothers and sister-in-laws.
