Amy Schluterman

Amy Schluterman, 52 of Ft. Smith, AR died peacefully at home on June 14, 2016. She was a graduate of St. Boniface and Southside High School, a caregiver, and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She married her grade school sweet heart and soul mate, Walter Schluterman on May 1, 1981. They had two children, Heather and Zachery Schluterman. Amy was a free spirit, a dreamer, and well loved by all that knew her.

Amy leaves behind her loving husband Wally, her daughter Heather Tarrant and her husband Andy of Greenwood, her son Zach and her three granddaughters; Hadley, Kailyn, and Meadow Tarrant of Greenwood. Also surviving are her amazing father, Dr. W.C. Holmes, Jr., her sister Sibley Holmes-Pennington, and brother David Holmes all of Ft. Smith and her brother Mark Holmes of New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her mother Rose Mary Holmes.

A Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 AM, which coincides with her mother’s birthday. Memorial Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Monday June 27, 2016 at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
