

Ann L. Paden, 85, of Fort Smith, passed from this life April 4, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born March 19, 1930, in Fort Smith, to the late Worth Edward Reichert Paden and Wilma Schmidt Paden. She was retired from the Eye Group as an insurance clerk. Ann was a member of First Lutheran Church, where she served on the Alter Guild and was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Before her death, Ann was the oldest continuous member of First Lutheran Church, having been a member since birth.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Tom Marley of Jacksboro, Texas; three nieces, Debra Harberson of Richardson, Texas, Sharon Murdock of Dallas, Texas and Judith McAfee of Lewisville, Texas, as well as four great nephews, Ryan and Reid McAfee and Chad and Kyle Harberson.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Edwards Funeral Home. Randy Coleman and Bill Shaver will serve as honorary pallbearers. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
