Anna Geraldine "Gerry" Falleur

Anna Geraldine Falleur (Gerry), 74, of Muldrow departed from this life to be with the Lord on September 23, 2013. Gerry was born August 4, 1939 to the late Bernard E. Martin and the late Hazel Johnson Martin of Fort Smith. She was the eldest of seven children; Buddy, Billy, Larry, Jackie, Susan Martin Gilstrap, and Jon David. Gerry graduated from Northside High School in 1958. She married Joe Falleur in Fort Smith later that year and they were devoted to each other for the next 54 years.

Gerry raised six children: Joseph Patrick, John Mark, William Charles (Bill), Anne Marie, Philip Stephen, and Keith Daniel. She worked as the Superintendent’s secretary of Central Sallisaw Public Schools for 17 years after her youngest began his education. She later worked several years at the Sequoyah County Election Board. Gerry did several years of volunteer work for Catholic Charities in Sallisaw and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith.

Gerry was greatly loved by her husband, family, and many friends for her attention to family, faith in God, and caring personality.

Rosary will be said 6:30 PM Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 27, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

Gerry is survived by her husband Joe, five children, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, and a sister.
