Annie V. McMahan

Annie V. McMahan, 99, of Lavaca, passed away surrounded by her family, on April 9, 2015. She was born December 12, 1915 in Barling, AR to Alfred Eslinger and Ida Mae (Elsey) Eslinger. Annie was retired from Sears Roebuck after 31 years of service and was a member of Lavaca First Baptist Church. She was a very determined and independent woman who loved her family and her Lord and Savior.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman “Bunk” McMahan, and was preceded by her eight siblings.

Annie is survived by her son, Richard L. McMahan of Barling; three grandchildren, Cheryl Nelson and her husband Dan of Tulsa, OK, Rich McMahan and his wife Stacy of Lavaca, and Carol Reano and her husband Michael of Dayton, AR; five great-grandchildren, Ryan McMahan and his wife Alicen of Van Buren, Chayla Nelson of Little Rock, AR, Michael Clayton Reano of Dayton, AR, Connor Nelson of Tulsa, OK, and Erin Reano of Dayton, AR; and one great-great grandson, Layton McMahan of Van Buren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, April, 13, 2015, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Forest Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-Grandsons; Rich McMahan, Dan Nelson, Michael Reano, Ryan McMahan, Connor Nelson and Michael Clayton Reano. Visitation will be Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.edwardsfuneralhome.com
