Arman Burgess Netherton, 67, of Fort Smith passed away Friday March 9, 2018. He was born January 8, 1951 in Lovell, WY to the late Joe and Lillie (Burgess ) Netherton. He was a retired Master Mechanic from International Paper and was an Army Veteran. His parents; and five brothers, Bob, Matt, Oscar, Norman and Arlis Netherton preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheralann (Sheri) Wilson Netherton; three sons and their spouses, Gary and Cindy Netherton of Central City, Tony and Robin Netherton of Fort Smith, and Brandon and Jennifer Netherton of Wichita, KS; and six grandchildren, Bailey, Shayla, Bentley, Alice, Bria and Holly. Arman has three living siblings out of eight, David Netherton of Powell, WY, Dean Netherton of Sheridan, WY and Lillian Moore of Granbury, TX.

Arman loved his children and grandchildren very much. He and his wife Sheri were soulmates. Arman loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed trips to different places. His favorite was the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. He also knew our Lord and Savior for the past two years. He is now in peace with a completely new body in Heaven.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Military Honors, both under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Tony Netherton, Gary Netherton, Richy King, Bobby King, Blake Hattabaugh, Brandon Netherton and Bentley Netherton.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

So sorry to hear about Arman. I am sure you are devastated. I think I was involved in the hiring process when Arman started work at IP. He was really a hard worker and put in a lot of hours there. Will be thinking and praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
