Barbara Ann Hurst, 80, of Lavaca died October 12, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born December 10, 1935 in Pocola, OK to Richard Lee and Elizabeth Sue Pepper Prescott. She was a homemaker and retired employee of Riverside Furniture.
She is survived by three sons, Tony & wife Pamela Roll of Lavaca, AR., Jimmy Roll of Heavener, OK., and Randy Roll of Roland, OK; three sisters, Norma Ruth Wartha of Leavenworth, KS., Christine Nolan of Oklahoma City, OK., and Shirley Misener; two brothers, Dub Prescott of Rock Island, OK and Charles Prescott of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron Loye Hurst.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the U.S. National Cemetery of Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM
