Barbara Wydeen Jackson

She was preceded in death by her loving husbands Donald Albert Wydeen and Robert Jackson; her son Bruce Donald Wydeen; and grandson James Britton Kaler IV.

She leaves behind a rich legacy of family carried on by her daughter Leslie Wydeen Kaler (Anthony), son Wallace Wydeen, and daughter Melanie Wydeen Ware (Steve); her granddaughter Stephenie Reed (Tommy); great granddaughters Lily Reed, and Samantha Reed, and great great grandson Jules Reed. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

All her own, our mother was a force of nature. Her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with a needle and with laugh. Her legacy is one of love and resilience. As we celebrate her remarkable life we remember her as a beacon of strength and warmth whose kindness filled every room. She had unwavering dedication to her family and friends and community. She left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her. May her memory inspire all of us to live life fully just as she did.

The family would like to thank the good people of Heart of Hospice, who were the shepherds who saw her and our family through this time.

A private service is to be held for Barbara.
