Bessie Lee Gilbert, 81, of Muldrow, left her beloved family to be with the Lord on April 9th 2011 in Muldrow. She was a mother first, in all her life and a cook and homemaker for many years. She was of the Pentecostal Faith, and attended Lee’ Chapel Assembly of God. She was also a member of the Muldrow Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Lucille Courtney and Louise Ruckman both of Muldrow; one son, Cleo Gilbert, Sr. of Roland; one brother, Joe Lee of Muldrow; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Gilbert; one son, Rick Gilbert, one great grandson, Joshua Courtney; son-in-law, Gary Ruckman; and twelve siblings.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. No formal service will be held.
