Betty Jo Pierce, 79, of Fort Smith, passed from this life September 17, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born November 18, 1935, in Cameron, Oklahoma, to the late Earl and Vera Thompson Woods. Betty worked as the credit union manager at Sparks Hospital and was a member at Wesley United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Robert F. Pierce.
She is survived by her son, Robert F. Pierce II of Fort Smith and her brother, Robert E. Woods of Shreveport, Louisiana. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Lynn Pierce Kramer and her grandson, Colin Kramer.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
