Billie C. Tedder, 89, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. She was born on January 25, 1937, in Porum, OK to the late Billy Ramsey and Bessie Parris Ramsey. Billie worked at the Wortz Cracker Company for 37 years, where she retired as a Plant Superintendent. She loved working in her flower garden. Billie loved her family so much, they were everything to her and she was everything to them. In addition to her parents, Billie is preceded in death by her husband, David Paul Tedder; two sons, Robert Laxton and Troy Tedder, and a sister, Opal Bidwell.
She is survived by her son, Ellis Thomas; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. She will be privately laid to rest at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
