Billy Joe Smith

Billy Joe Smith, 76 of Fort Smith, passed away Sunday June 10th in Fort Smith. He was born December 2, 1935 in Hartshorne, OK to the late Earl and Pearlie Smith. He was a Baptist and a retired Truck Driver for Griffin’s Grocery. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Smith and two sons Ronald and Dennis Smith.

A Family held memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Ft. Smith.

He is survived by his daughter; Sandra Barker of Alma; two sons Leonard Smith of Decatur, AR and Richard Smith of Arkoma, OK; sister Norma Smith of Tucson, AZ; brother Earl Smith of Pryor, OK as well as 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
