

On May 24, 1955 Billy Ray Youngblood was born to the late Dorthy Mae Releford-Green and Clarence James Youngblood, Sr. in Sallisaw, OK.
Bill was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Charlie and Lilian Releford (Nickerson), his paternal grandparents Dora Mae Langston and Jeteye (Buddy) Youngblood and his beloved mother Dorthy Mae Releford-Green.
Bill accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He attended Muldrow Elementary school then went on to Roland High School where he played his favorite sport football. He later decided to join the US Army from 1974-1976.
Bill was very caring and loved his family dearly. He truly enjoyed teaching the old and new generation about life and family history. He also enjoyed his hobbies of going fishing, detailing cars, and mechanically working on vehicles. He will be greatly missed by so many who appreciated him throughout his life.
Bill will be forever loved, cherished and remembered by his father Clarence Youngblood, Sr. (Bean) of Muldrow, OK; siblings: Clarence Youngblood, Jr. of Houston,TX, Glenda-Sue Posey, Donnie (Jessie) Youngblood, Shedric (Latreshyn) Youngblood of Muldrow, OK, Linda ( Eddie) Burgess, Laura (Steve) Harrison of Vian, OK, Phyllis Alexander of Fayetteville, AR and James Youngblood of Fort Smith AR, his loving children Conchetta Collins of TX, Adina Logan, Shellene Benton and Taisha Youngblood of Fort Smith, LaKristie Benton of Tulsa, LaTara Youngblood of Fayetteville, Billy Youngblood Jr. and Melissa Youngblood of LA, Eric Youngblood-Walton of PA and his bonus children: Latresha Dumas and Myron Carter, along with 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 15, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, OK with burial to follow at Center Point Cemetery in Redland, OK.
