Bobby loved fishing and spending time outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent on his dock with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, teaching them how to fish while sharing stories and life lessons. They also looked forward to the annual Easter egg hunt at his home, a tradition that brought the family together each year and created countless treasured memories. He was always there for his family, offering his love, and guidance whenever they needed him. Bobby worked as a forklift driver in the warehouse at Whirlpool, where he dedicated 35 years of service before retiring.
Bobby is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Ann Collins; eleven siblings; his son David Collins; and his grandson, Bobby Collins. He is survived by his son, Robert Collins and his wife Sherri; daughter Jayme and wife Valan; grandchildren, Coty Nelson and wife Ammyra, Dylan Martin, Kelsey Collins, Breanna Collins, and Shynequea White; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Doris Mitchell; and brother Scotty Collins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm following the visitation.
