

Bobby A. Dolan of Fort Smith entered into rest on January 20th, 2015. He was born in Cedars, OK on December 20, 1935, to Carl & Winnie Dolan. Bob moved to Fort Smith with his family when he was 9 years old. He was a long time business man in Fort Smith and was co-owner of Fort Smith Plating. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, was a 32nd Degree Mason and also a Shriner. He retired in 1997 and he and his wife (Betty Dolan) of 61 years, traveled a lot going to places they never thought they would be able to see. Bob often told Betty that they had a good life and he was ready. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Tonia Dolan Wood and a granddaughter Jennifer Jean Wood, his brother Nathan Dolan. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Jean Clark Dolan; one son, Bobby Allen Dolan II and wife Jackie Case Dolan of Fort Smith; one sister, Wilma Cogswell of San Clemente, California; 5 grandchildren, Lacey Ledbetter, Bobby Dolan III, Christopher Dolan, Matthew Dolan, and Ashley Dolan; and 2 great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Scotty Ledbetter. Funeral service will be Friday, January 23rd at 2:00 PM, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery under direction of Edwards Funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ron Fant, Kevin Treece, Bobby Dolan III (Trey), Christopher Dolan, Matthew Dolan, Jody Adams, Mason Fant, Tommy Dolan, Bill Fant, Benny Fant, and Danny Egbert.
