Dear Johnny and family,
My deepest condolences to you all.  It is in quite an unusual way that I discovered Brent's obituary.
It has been a very long time since I saw Brent.  We had a nice visit several years ago when Mom and I visited your folks - the last time we visited, Uncle John was in the nursing home, probably about 1991 or 92.

I first met Brent when he was taking guitar lessons in the early 1990's. Brent was the most dedicated student I ever had. Ever. He worked hard at whatever he decided to undertake. We became good friends and would go to music trade shows and hang out, discussing music and good food. Over the years I watched him own a record store, a record label, become a landlord and then a social worker. Rest in peace, my friend. You will be sorely missed.

We all knew Brent at our violin shop here in Nashville.  He was always excited to look at violins and to show us any violin he might have found, purchased, or traded.  We were all very sad to hear of is passing.  We knew him to be a caring, funny, sincere, and honest person.

I guess I was your connection to Nashville,Tn.  I will miss our phone calls and conversation.  I will charish our friendship.  In loving memory of a great person who finally found his place in life.  You were meant to be a caseworker.  You had a heart of gold and a caring loving heart.  I will miss you, my friend.

Brent was a very kind and sweet man. He was always trying to help out. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time.

Brent was a very sweet,and tried hls best to make something that seemed bad,turn it into something so good!He will be greatly missed.

Brent will be truly missed.He was such a caring man.And yes he took his job 150% indeed.I got a chance to spend time with him and to know the man outside of his job.May God bless each and everyone of his famliy members.

Brent, you would have blushed at all the wonderful things that everyone had to say about you today.  It was always a pleasure to see you.  You always had something positive to say and did so much for the children and families.  We miss you.  You will be in out thoughts.

I am sorry to not be there for Brent's funeral.  I always enjoyed his company.  He was always a happy guy, liked to smile a lot, and cared about the families he served.  He will be missed by his clients and his coworkers.

A more caring and helpful person doesn't exist......Brent was the epitome of a person we should all strive to be more like.

Brent was such an awesome person. He gave 150% to the children and foster families of Arkansas. We are so blessed for having the priveledge of knowing you. Brent was a kind, gentle man; he touched the lives of many people and will truly be missed. I will miss his smile and the kindness and warm he had about him.

Brent was a very sweet man who worked extremely hard for his clients. He always was willing to help his coworkers out any way he could. Brent will be dearly missed but not forgotten!!!!

I NEVER GOT THE CHANCE TO MEET MR. BRENT IN PERSON, BUT WE TALKED A LOT OVER THE PHONE. HE WAS WORKING ON A CASE FOR ME
A FEW DAYS BEFORE HE DIED. I HATE WE NEVER MET, BUT MAY GOD BE WITH HIS FAMILY IN A MIGHTY WAY, HE WAS A VERY NICE, CARING PERSON FROM WHAT I KNEW OF HIM.

Brent you will be missed so much. I will miss your smile that you aiways had no matter what was going on. You are in haven now, the Lord needed an other angel, please take care of Sha for me.
