Callie Dodson

Callie Dodson, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on June 26, 1931 in Roff, Oklahoma and was one of 9 children. Callie was a homemaker. She married Jackie Dodson on August 27, 1953, and they shared many cherished years together.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jackie Dodson; parents, Ira and Ludie May (Glasgow) Pollock; her sisters Edna Arnold, Lizzie Mabry, Kathryn Kildow; and her brother Ira Pollock.

She leaves behind her sisters Margaret Williams, Mary Alford, Marie Cryder, her brother Bill Pollock and her nephew Bruce Winters and niece Terry Winters.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 12, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home, 201 N 12th St, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, January 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place later that day at 3:00 p.m. at Holdenville Cemetery, 801 13th Ave, Holdenville, Oklahoma. Callie will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jackie.
