Carl Christie, 66, of Muldrow, passed from this life September 11, 2016 in Muldrow. He was born January 4, 1950, in Oklahoma City to the late J.R. and Margaret Hunter Christie. Carl was a proud to be a Marine, having served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of American Legion Post 15 and the VFW in Sallisaw. He also attended New Hope Baptist Church.
Carl is survived by his wife, Jane; three daughters, Kimberly Noyes of Mulberry, Crista Gracey of West Virginia and Candace Eldridge of West Virginia; one son, Gary Noyes of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Chris Noyes, Gary Noyes II, Angie Lechner, Elisha Lechner and Heather Johnson; 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Scotty Noyes.
A memorial graveside will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
