

Carl W. McCauley, 82, of Fort Smith, died March 10, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born February 13, 1935 in DeQueen, AR to John and Gertrude Ashley McCauley. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder, Trustee, and Sunday School teacher. He was a former employee of Kansas City Southern Railroad, the Saudi Arabian Government, overseeing airport transportation systems, and retired as a realtor for River City Realty. He was a member of the Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary International.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wilma McCauley of the home; one daughter, Kathy and husband Kevin Smith of Fort Smith; one son, Hal Adams, Jr. and wife Gail of Dallas, TX; one sister, Diane Dickson and husband James of Rohwer, AR; one brother, Daniel and wife Virginia McCauley of Hurst, TX; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his caregiver, Greg Cline. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Kevin McCauley.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Central Presbyterian Church. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Watson, John Ayers, Paul Guiffre, and his grandchildren, Aaron Adams, Jesse Adams, Collin Smith, Amy Mickle, Mitzi Mickle, Madeline Butler and Rachel Adams.
The family will greet friends following the memorial service in the Parlor of Central Presbyterian Church.
