Catherine Kaelin Coplin, 98, died on May 16th in Rogers. She was born in Fort Smith, where she attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was employed for many years in the finance department of the City of Fort Smith. Catherine was the last to survive of twelve children of Joseph and Anna Kaelin. She was preceded in death by Gene Coplin, her husband of 48 years.
Surviving are her sons, Timothy Coplin and wife Jamye of Eureka Springs, and Barry Coplin and wife Susan of Little Rock; her grandson, Cason Coplin and wife Laurie of Overland Park, Kansas; and great grandchildren, Marlow and Griffin.
Rosary service will be at Edwards Funeral Home at 7 p.m. on Thursday and graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday at 11 a.m. under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the staffs of Green Acres Assisted Living and Circle of Life Hospice in Rogers for their loving care.
