

Chuck graduated high school in 1982 in Pensacola, Florida. After graduation, he joined the Navy and served for 9 years in South Carolina. He later moved to Fort Smith and worked for the US Postal Service for over 20 years. Chuck and Laura met in 2008 and married in 2012.
Chuck enjoyed traveling and especially cruising. After retiring, he loved volunteering at The Artemis Project, helping the animal rescue find new homes for abandoned dogs. He later attended Fort Smith Citizen’s Police Academy and was the current President of the Alumni Board. In 2020, after the death of their daughter Autumn, a new mission arrived of raising their grandson. Jaxon Lane Neuman was 2 when he joined the home. He and grandpa were inseparable. Grandpa never missed a school program or teachers' meeting.
Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Mae White Neuman; brothers, David Paul White and Randall Glenn White; sister, Sharon White Robertson and her husband Kenneth Leonard (Buck) Robertson, all of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and daughter Autumn Patrice Neuman of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura White Neuman, married in Fort Smith on December 31, 2012; son, Charles (CJ) Neuman of Fort Smith; daughters Heather Neuman Willett of Van Buren Arkansas, Kristin Cuellar of Fort Smith, and Mallory Sitz (Will) of Fort Smith; grandchildren, William Sitz, Kenadee Willett, Lincoln Willett, Jaxon Neuman, Kyler Sitz and Luca Neuman; sisters, Brenda Sue White Cabellero (Lloyd) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Terry Annette White of Syracuse, New York, Angela Christina Neuman Sellers (Jeff) of McCalla, Alabama, and Teresa Jo Neuman VanWhy (Roy) of Milton, Florida.
The family will be holding a private graveside service at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at a later date.
