Charles H Prescott

Charles Herbert Prescott, born December 14, 1929 to Richard Simon Prescott and Elizabeth Susan Peppers Prescott, passed from this life into life eternal on January 4, 2021. Charles , a Korean War Veteran, was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 44 years, Norma Jean Hartsfield Prescott; two sons, David Michael Prescott, and Frankie Leon Dunkerson; two brothers, Jerry and Richard Jr. Prescott; four sisters, Helen, Shirley, Arlene and Barbara Ann.

Charles is survived by five sons, Charles Prescott, Steve Prescott and wife Linda of Barling, Donald Dunkerson of Van Buren, Wayne Dunkerson and Edward Dunkerson; one daughter, Deloris Griffith of Fort Smith. He’s also survived by one brother, Dub Prescott and wife Debbie of Rock Island, OK.; two sisters, Christine Nolan of Oklahoma city, OK. and Norma Ruth Wartha of Leavenworth, KS.; Charles was the loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. Viewing will be 9 AM till 4 PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Edwards Funeral
