Charlotte Kious

Charlotte June Kious, 88 departed her adventure of a life on July 11, 2026, in Barling, Arkansas. Born August 1,1937, to Jimmie Lucille Bobbitt and William Eston Williams. Charlotte was a homemaker and was a loving daughter, sister mother and wife. She married Donald Eugene Kious in Fort Smith AR on his 21st birthday April 14, 1953 while he was attending bootcamp at Fort Chaffee heading to Korea to serve in the Korean War. She was a loyal wife and loved no other but him until his death in March 1994 and stayed his wife until her passing this month. They raised 4 children together and had an exciting adventure in this life.

Charlotte is survived by her 2 beloved sons: Russell D Kious and his wife Sherry Kious of Pensacola, FL; Marshall H Kious of Fort Smith, AR and her beloved only Daughter, Cara D Kious of Fort Smith, AR. 11 grands: Christopher J Kious; Eran D Kious, Heather Meyer; Amy Kious-Avina; Holly Hughes; Cooper D Kious; Conner L Kious; Stevenia Longacre; Sterling Kious; Houston Kious; Larry Kious and 28 great grands.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Donald E Kious, her parents, Jimmie Lucille and Eston Williams, a brother L. Michael Falt and a beloved son Larry P Kious.

We give thanks to this Daughter, Sister, Mother who journeyed this life with us and through us. Charlotte will always be remembered for her sweet and sassy disposition and she will be buried at the Fort Smith National Cemetery atop her beloved husband.
