

Cheryl Sue Humble, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born in Fort Smith on November 26, 1949, to Kenneth and Fern (Stallings) Taylor. She was retired from Citizens Bank & Trust in Van Buren, and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a 1967 graduate of Northside High School. She loved her mom, kids, and grandkids immensely. We’ll miss trying to decipher moms many text messages. She was also a big fan of Nascar and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Humble, and her father Kenneth Taylor. She is survived by her mother, Fern Taylor of the home, her two sons, Todd Humble and wife Minta of Van Buren, AR, and Eric Humble and wife Jenny of Rogers, AR. She was Granny Cheryl to two granddaughters, Lauren and Ashley Humble of Van Buren, and grandson Aiden Humble of Rogers, AR. Pall Bearers will be Todd Humble, Eric Humble, Bill Fowler, Johnny Robinson, Jason Wewers, and Dennis Wewers.
Visitation will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, with the funeral service following at 11:00am at Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
