Christopher McKenzie

Christopher Russell McKenzie, 32, of Pocola passed from this life April 29, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born December 27, 1989 in Fort Smith. Chris loved making music and playing the guitar, and had a soft heart for animals.

Chris is survived by his daughter and love of his life, Milly; his step-dad Randy Childers; two step-brothers, Josh Childers and his wife Lysistera and Jamie Childers and his wife Tara; his aunt, Tangie Luu and uncle Mark McKenzie and wife Shana; his nephew Beau Childers; cousins, Dody Luu and Michele, Jeremy Luu and Lyndsey and Landon McKenzie, Mindy Beesley and Chad, and Hunter McKenzie. He was preceded in death by his mother Angie McKenzie Childers; his grandparents Bill and Joyce Ann McKenzie; his uncle Billy Wayne McKenzie; and cousin Hannah McKenzie.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, May 9, 2022 at Evans Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Pocola, with burial following at Macedonia Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Evans Miller Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
