At the age of 72, she rested in her final moments surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a woman of strength, deep faith, and strong conviction who cherished every moment she spent with her loved ones. Her unwavering spirit will always be remembered. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Fort Smith, leaving behind a legacy of faith and fortitude.
She was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven by her beloved son Scott, her mother Rita Scherrey and her father Louis Torres. She leaves behind her husband of 48 years Ken Rusin, son and wife, Pete and Katie Rusin of Fort Smith, daughter Michele Rusin of Fort Smith, step-sons Brad Rusin of Australia and Kevin and Nicole Rusin of Southern California, and grandchildren Adriana Rusin, Karlee Rusin, and Presley Rusin all of Fort Smith, Adam and Adi Rusin of California, and Bennett Damon-Cannava of California.
Cinda began her life in Southern California and sought to travel the world as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines. After meeting Ken in 1974, she knew their love would sustain them through the journey of life. Ken and Cinda moved to Arkansas in 1976 and she dedicated many years working beside Ken as they built Spray Rite, Inc. from the ground up and raised their 3 beautiful children. Cinda was a wonderful hostess, and everyone was welcome at her table. She showed us all her love through her amazing cooking. A woman of devout faith, Cinda would commit herself to prayer for her family and her extensive web of friends who she loved as family.
