Clara Estelle Williamson

Clara Estelle Williamson, 96, of Fort Smith, died March 28, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born June 2, 1918 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Turner Bartlett and Clara Edna Sills Lawrence. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Aldersgate Sunday School Class.

She is survived by one daughter, Patsy L. and husband Ellis Boswell of Jackson, Mississippi; one son, Reverend Ron and Betty Williamson of Fort Smith; one brother, Turner B. and wife Jo Lawrence of Benton, AR; two grandchildren, Rod D. and wife Andra Williamson of Fort Smith and Savannah L. and husband Jerry Smith of Alma; three great grandchildren, D. Bradley Williamson, J. Blake Williamson, and John D. Boswell; and one great great granddaughter, Clara K. Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Clarence D. Williamson; one daughter, Joan Y. Williamson; brother Vernon L. Lawrence, and two grandsons, John E. Boswell, Jr. and David M. Boswell.

Funeral service will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ellis Boswell, Ron Hatcher, Michael Lawrence, Tommy Lawrence, Jerry Smith, Blake Williamson, Brad Williamson, and Rod Williamson.
