Clifford H. Dobson

Clifford “Cliff” H. Dobson, 86, of Fort Smith passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011, after a long illness. He was born March 26, 1924 in Fort Smith, AR to the late Samuel and Harriet Dobson. He was a retired auto mechanic from the Civil Service. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Dobson was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jose Dabdub officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Mountain View Cemetery near Hackett under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Mr. Dobson is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Estelle, a sister Dolly Dee Newman of California and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening, March 16, 2011, from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers Mrs. Dobson asks that donations be made to the Good Samaritan Clinic, 615 North B Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
