Cynthia "Cynde" K. Watson

Cynthia K. Watson, 68, of Fayetteville, formerly of Fort Smith passed from this life January 10, 2022 in Fayetteville. Cynde was born July 6, 1953, in Fort Smith, to Gayle Autry and Mary Ann Hardie Autry. Cynde retired from First National Bank of Fort Smith and was a member of Community Bible Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Cynde is survived by two daughters, Mitzi Traxson of Fayetteville and Melissa Woodard of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Samuel Traxson and Kaden and Jozlyn Woodard; and two great grandchildren, Kian and Kylan Woodard. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Mike Watson; her son Robert Highley; her great granddaughter Kylah Woodard; and her brother Brett Autry.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, January 14, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Vaught Cemetery near Mountainburg. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family kindly asks that all attendees wear a face mask during visitation and funeral services.
