

Darlene Rae Ingalsbe Worley, age 79, went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 22, 2015. Darlene was born on August 13, 1936, in Streator, Illinois to Marion and Evelyn Ingalsbe. Darlene graduated from Streator Township High School in Streator, Illinois in 1954. In October 1954, she married James (Jim) Lee Worley, and she was by his side during his 24 years of service in the Army. In their retirement years, they loved to travel the country in their RV, where they enjoyed their winters at Pioneer RV Park in Corpus Christi, Texas with many dear friends. She deeply treasured family; all her children, grandchildren, great granddaughter, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Darlene was active in Valley View Church of Christ in Greenwood, and she cherished her life long relationship with her Lord and Savior. She was a member of the National Federation of the Blind, where she served as treasurer of the local chapter. Among her favorite activities was writing, cross-word puzzles and her dog, Buddy. She also very much enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in their various activities.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Ingalsbe of Springfield, IL,; her children, Kevan Worley and wife Bridget of Colorado Springs, CO., Paul Worley and wife Brenda of Yampa, Colorado, Eric Worley of Aurora, Colorado, and Beth Presley and husband Darryl of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Megan Beth Wilson of Columbia, Missouri, Chelsea Worley of Steamboat, Colorado, Nijat Worley of Omaha, Nebraska, Jordan and Emily Worley of Springfield, Missouri, MaKenzie and Camryn Presley of Fort Smith, Arkansas and great grandchild, Layla Worley of Springfield, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral service will be held at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at Edwards Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, August 26th.
Pallbearers will be: Jordan Worley, Nijat Worley, Jesse Cabalar, Justin Cabalar, Joey Cabalar, and James Cabablar.
