Davey Lee Bruce, 28, of Van Buren, passed from this life June 23, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born July 22, 1989, in Fort Smith, to the late Woodrow Lee Bruce and Shirley Phillips Bruce.

Davey is survived by his wife, Ashley; his children, Rachel, Billy, Landon, Carson and Wyatt; his mother, Shirley Bruce; four sisters, Angel and Janie Bruce, Shirley Knapp and Sarah Skinner; his brother, Stevie Bruce; and half-brothers, Pete, Terry and James Bruce, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 12:00pm Monday July 9, 2018 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Bruce, Brian Almond, Rafael Valero Jr, Dakota Lyons, Blake Osborn, Kirk Skinner, Frank Fain and Jonathan Escobar. His children will serve as honorary pallbearers.

You left too soon Davey. You was just at my shop on the 19th of June and was working in the garage on my show truck. One thing I want never forget u said that night. People are gonna be people and if they don't like me so what. Fly high and look down on your family and mines too
