

Born on December 22, 1947 in Fort Smith, AR, David was known for his charm and fun-loving nature. He had a successful career as a salesman and entrepreneur. David was a dedicated husband and tireless caregiver for many years for Judy Anne Bercher, who was the love of his life. In addition, he was always proud to share his service as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War era. Beyond this, a man of many talents, David enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors, which he pursued with enthusiasm.
David is survived by his children Darrell Bercher, Kimberly Burt, Melinda Long and Ricky Richesin and his immediate family Richard Bercher, MD, Lisa Morris, and Danny Bercher, PhD.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Anne Bercher, parents Paul John Bercher Jr., and Evelyn Naomi Bercher, and brother Donald Allen Bercher. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
A visitation for David will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 1820 N B St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Rosary Service will begin at 10:30 AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery following the service.
