David Wayne Crowe, 70 of Rudy, AR, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1950 In Russellville to the late Loyd and Emma Crowe. He was retired U.S. Army veteran, having served in Desert Storm. After his service in the U.S. Army, David worked for Sivell Engineering as a draftsman. He was a member of VFW Post 8845 and Butterfield Assembly of God Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Dustin Shipman.
Funeral Service will be 9:00 A.M. Friday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with private interment at the Fort Smith National Cemetery will full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of the home; a daughter, Jenny Johnson (Dave), of Prairie Grove; Matt Crowe (Kerry) and Justin Crowe (Brytne), both of Hot Springs, Jamison Shipman (Amber) of Alma and Clifford Shipman (Colleen) of Peoria, AZ; two brothers, Jerry Crowe (Debbie) and Brian Crowe, both of Dardenelle. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Luke Johnson (Kylie), Jessi Johnson, Leann Bieslich (Steven), Christopher Crowe, Emma Crowe, Jude, Jesse, Jager and Jewell Shipman, Alora Perry, Nick Shipman, Malia Shipman, Vaida Crowe and Heidi Crowe; 3 great grandchildren, Lucas Johnson, Alice Bieslich and Bradley Perry.
Public viewing will be from 1:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
