Deborah Ann Gahr

Deborah Ann Gahr, 56 of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born August 5, 1955 in Princeton, Minnesota to the late Lewis & Dora Opheim. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and a Beautician. She was a member of Fianna Hills Country Club Women’s Golf Association

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ft. Smith.

She is survived by her husband Brian of the home, two daughters Jennifer Gahr of Fort Smith, Rebecca Minks and her husband Jimmy II of Pocola, OK and son Samuel Gahr and his wife Chelsea Renee of Radcliff, KY; two sisters Patricia Svien and her husband Lawrence of Lake City, MN and Kristen Skoog and her husband Brad of Lindstrom, MN; two brothers Timothy Opheim and his wife Lynette of Bloomington, MN and David Opheim of Oskaloosa, IA. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kruger Donelson, Ken Clark, Larry Reed, Scott Stuart, Cory Biladeau, John Gahr. Honorary pallbearer will be Pat McKinney.

Family will receive guests 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, May 25th at the funeral home.
