Dhan Patel, 70, of Fort Smith, passed from this life October 1, 2016 in Fort Smith. Dhan was born October 24, 1945 in Kadod, India, to the Durlabhbhai and Laduba Patel. He was a retired hotel owner and of the Hindu faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lilaben; his son Manish Patel of Fort Smith; three daughters, Dharini Patel of Fort Smith, Reena Patel of Denton, Texas and Sunita Patel of New Braunfels, Texas. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nita Patel.
A prayer service will be said 6:00pm Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:00am Monday, October 3, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
