Dolores Jean Ray

She was born on November 14, 1934, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Joe and Vada (Edmond) Reichert. As the youngest of eight children, Dolores was cherished by her family throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Virgil Ray; her parents; all four sisters; three brothers; and her son, David Worsham.

Dolores leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, remembered by her daughters: Cheryl Wise and husband Steve, Tamera Lawson, Robin Mitchell and husband Greg, and Sonya Ruiz and husband Dennis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, who will forever treasure her memory.

A funeral service in honor of Dolores will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with a brief visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. before the service. Following the service, Dolores will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
