Donnie Lee Woodard, 84, of Roland, Oklahoma passed from this life, with his family by his side, July 15, 2022 in Roland. He was born September 13, 1937 in Arkoma, Oklahoma to Roscoe Woodard and Hazel Lovett Woodard. Professionally, Donnie was a purchasing agent for Riverside Furniture, but his first love was farming. He helped others by being a member of the volunteer fire department and a Deputy Marshall for the town of Moffett, Oklahoma. Donnie was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Donnie is survived by his wife Jackie Woodard; three daughters, Kelly Bordelon and husband Chad, Kathy Luper and husband Jimmy Turner and Sandi Piersant; four grandchildren, Brandon Luper and wife Erika, Whitney Jiles and husband Kevin, Megan Perkins and Joshua Perkins; three great grandchildren, Anders Luper and Jagger and Scout Jiles; his sister Janice Turner, and brother L.B. Woodard; and two nieces, Angie Woodard and Julie Timmerman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter Jessica Vaughn.
Funeral services for Donnie will be 2:00pm Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Monday, July 18, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home. Private burial at Roland City Cemetery will follow at a later time. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
