Due to my health, I was unable to attend Doris' funeral. She was a long time special friend to me. I first met her when we moved to Fort Smith in 1976. It seems we were always in the same Sunday School class. Later when I became in charge of outreach I kept in close contact with Doris and Norman. Every illness or hospitalization I would check on them. She was a fighter and seemed to always to pull through.
I will miss her and the conversations we use to have in "the good old days.
My sympathy to all the family. Debbie, you were a good daughter and took such good care of your mother and Dad.
