Doris J Smith

Age 78 of Arkoma, OK died November 6, 2023 in her home. She was born January 27, 1945, in Albion, OK to Arthur Deal and Osie Lee (Nunley) Deal. She was a retired Registered Nurse from Sparks Hospital. She enjoyed genealogy, collecting everything, and selling on eBay. Her family was so important to her, as well as scrapbooking the grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Glen Smith of 57 years. They were blessed with one son Charles Trexler Smith, one daughter-in-law Kelli Keen (Sering) Smith, and 2 grandsons Easton Zane and Scout Weston.

She is also survived by 1 sister, Wanda Lee (Deal) Smith (Tony) of Fort Smith, AR, Billy Arthur Deal (Rhonda) of Edmond, OK, and Carl Dean Deal (Carolyn) of Harrah, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on November 9, 2023, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. There will be a Graveside Service on November 10, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
