Dorothy Freeman, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed from this life at 11:00pm Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born December 28, 1934, in Van Buren, Arkansas to the late Albert and Pansy Bolin Honea. Dorothy was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Armour Heights Nursing Home and was a long time member of Spradling Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Terry Campbell of Fort Smith and Elizabeth Vinson of Howe, Oklahoma; two sons, Freddie M. Freeman and John Freeman, both of Fort Smith; 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death her husband Freddie Freeman; a daughter Susan Reynolds; her grandson, Isaac M. Griffin, as well as her brothers and sisters, Grace Brown, Sarah Roy, Virginia Jeffcoat, Shirley Snell, Maudie Kye and Albert Madison Honea.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the love and care shown to their mother and the support for the family given by everyone at Mercy Hospice.
