Dorothy M. Goode, 93, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was born July 25, 1921 in Champagne, IL. She was a retired Seamstress from Illinois Glove Company and a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Lionel H. Goode.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Pavilion at Fort Smith National Cemetery with burial to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by five daughters Patricia Becker of Fort Smith, Mary Jo Kenney of Alma, Rhonda Johnson of Alma, Sandra Jay of Waco, TX and Susan Flippen of Warsaw, MO two sons Thomas Goode of Van Buren and Roy Duncan of Fort Smith 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends Monday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.n of Edwards Funeral Home, Fort Smith, AR.
