Dorothy A. Shepard, 83, of Fort Smith, died June 14, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born June 22, 1928 in Fort Smith. Dorothy was retired a secretary for Acme Brick Company and member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, Clyde Shepard, Jr of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Brad, Bryan, and Cynthia Shepard and Michael Paul Jowers and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Shepard, Sr., daughter, Dottie Sue Jowers; sister, Theasie Nance; and brother, Earl Finney.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5-7 PM.
