Dorothy Louise White, 90, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Fort Smith. She was born November 27, 1928 in Fort Smith to the late Joe E. Coleman, Sr. and Iven (Seamans) Coleman. She was a retired Registrar for the Fort Smith School System. She was a charter member of Haven Heights Baptist Church. Her husband Joe White preceded her in death, her brothers Clifford Coleman, Joe E. Coleman, Jr., John Thomas Coleman and Charles Coleman and her sisters Marie Coleman Combs and Georgia Mae Doyal.
Her sons Jeff White and wife Lizz of Van Buren and Tommy White and wife Patricia of Fort Smith, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and five great great- grandchildren, survive her.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Haven Heights Baptist Church, 7701 Highway 271 South, Fort Smith, with burial to follow at Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
